Cleaners Ranjana and Lushane are this months’ People Excellence Award recipients.
The dynamic duo work on an educational site in the regional community of Bendigo.
Ranjana is a night cleaning supervisor while Lushane is the day cleaning supervisor. Working closely, the two successfully lead the day and night cleaning teams together achieving great results.
Client Relationship Manager George Spanos said Ranjana and Lushane lead the day and night teams with accountability, a strong work ethic and good communication which has resulted in positive feedback from site clients.
“Ranjana is a supportive manager and a female role model for her team who have a great deal of respect for her. Lushane is an outstanding individual who is friendly, hardworking and goes above and beyond to complete tasks at hand.”
“Together they have formed a working relationship of good communication, handing over information from the day shifts to the night on things like tasks required post events, detail cleaning and areas of improvement. This information is essential to the night cleaning team to provide a deep clean every night and have the campus ready for operation the next morning,” George said.
Lushane says that he is proud to have received the People Excellence Award and to be recognised and appreciated by his team and other supervisors like Ranjana.
Ranjana says the best thing about working at Happsa is the understanding and support, along with the opportunity to be a supervisor.
