Happsa cleaner Marie has won the 2023 People Excellence of the Year Award.
Marie has been cleaning for Happsa for almost three years and has recently moved locations from a retail to a government asset in Melbourne’s Southeast.
Client Relationship Manager Biljana said that earlier this year, an opportunity to improve one of our significant assets in the Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne, and Marie was asked to assist.
“Over the past six months, Marie has flourished in her new role and seamlessly adapted to the change,” said Biljana.
“Marie is the type of worker who is a problem solver and will seek the best outcome in her work.”
“If she is faced with a cleaning challenge, she will troubleshoot, taking the initiative to use different surface cleaners and processes to get the result she needs.”
Marie is well-respected by her peers and team-orientated; she always seeks to improve the level of her team’s work.
“Marie fills in for those who cannot work, and I have the highest confidence in Marie to get things done,” Biljana said.
“Her reliability, integrity, understanding of our purpose and contribution to our culture are only some of her qualities.”
