HAPPSA staff take part in ‘deadly’ training

The Happsa team took part in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training this morning.

The training, provided by training partner Deadly Sports Plus was a mix of practical and theoretical training which was preceded by an e-learning module.

Happsa staff were taught how to provide CPR and use defibrillator equipment.

Happsa’s Group Managing Director Operations Harry Georgiou said the training enhances staff safety by equipping them with essential knowledge and skills for life-saving interventions during medical emergencies at work.

“We are thrilled to partner with Deadly Sports Plus on this training. They are our first aid training partner providing our staff with the skills and knowledge to be safe at work”.

Deadly Sports Plus is the only non-profit Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality Event First Aid Services and comprehensive First Aid Training programs across various regions in Australia.
