Happsa’s Accounts Officer Katherine’s is the July People Excellence Award winner.
Highlighted for her work ethic, thorough practices and as someone who delivers to the best of her ability time and time again.
Happsa’s Finance Manager Wanaree O’Keefe said that Katherine’s attention to detail is her most valuable skill.
“Katherine has only been in the role for three months but always gives 100%, not just to the Finance Team, but across to other departments.”
“I selected her for this award because day-after-day she has shown to be someone who is a team player, who genuinely cares for the success of Happsa. She does all she can to make sure we are on the front foot,” Wanaree said.
“She is great at creating inter-departmental relationships where open communication is important. In such a short time, she has shown to be an integral part not just of our Finance Team, but of Happsa”.
Katherine is originally from Medellin, Colombia and has been in Australia for the last 4.5 years.
As the Accounts Officer for Happsa, she is responsible for both the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
Katherine says the people and the environment are the best things about working at Happsa.
“This is my first professional work in Australia, and I am loving it,” said Katherine.
