Happsa have partnered with Corporate Culcha to undertake Cultural Awareness Training for staff.
All administrative staff at Happsa have completed the Australian Indigenous Cultural Awareness and Competency eLearning program.
Happsa’s Managing Director Operations Harry Georgiou said that Happsa is now extending the program to operational staff.
“As part of our Reconciliation Action Plan, we have set three key objectives around relationships, awareness and opportunity.”
“In order to achieve these objectives, we believe it is fundamental to first create an environment of awareness and education for our staff,” Harry said.
“We want our people to be informed and have a good awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Awareness and understanding are key steps that we are taking in our journey,” Harry said.
Happsa will continue to rollout the Cultural Awareness Training for staff throughout 2023.
