Happsa in partnership with Supply Nation held a Lunch and Learn Supplier Diversity training session.
The session focused on Happsa’s goals and objectives in supplier diversity and its support of Indigenous business.
Staff learnt about how Happsa works with Supply Nation to source Indigenous business to include in its supply chain.
Happsa’s Managing Director Paul Apostolidis said that Suppler Diversity training was an opportunity to showcase the benefits of working with Indigenous business to the wider team at Happsa.
“We have worked hard over the last few years to partner with Indigenous business and have carefully selected businesses that are the right fit for Happsa but who also follow our philosophy of giving back,” Paul said.
“Working with like-minded suppliers, we are able to give back to our community through our procurement spend which support things like community projects, creative education and employment initiatives for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.”
Happsa has increased it’s spend with Indigenous business by 20% and included two new Indigenous businesses in its supply chain as part of a Reconciliation Action Plan objective in 2021-2022.
