Happsa, cleaning for success

Happsa has successfully rolled out the initial phase of its new training initiative, Clean for Success, developed in collaboration with HPC Solutions. This program marks a significant shift from Happsa’s traditional training methods, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in training its operational management team.

Following an internal assessment of its conventional training approach, Happsa recognised the need for a more streamlined model tailored to its workforce. The updated program is designed to address the unique challenges of training personnel who work during off-hours across multiple locations, often with limited English proficiency.

Happsa Managing Director Operations Harry Georgiou, emphasised the difficulties faced in training a part-time workforce characterised by high turnover rates and varying language skills.

“Training and retraining such a workforce can be costly and complex, however, our partnership with Bridget and HPC Solutions has introduced a flexible training model that allows us to either train the trainers or our cleaners directly.”

This approach has provided us with the necessary resources to implement the program effectively,” said Harry.

Over the past six months, Happsa has collaborated closely with HPC Solutions to develop tailored workflows and content, resulting in a comprehensive Cleaning Manual that will now be integrated into its training program. This new manual is expected to streamline training processes, increase safety, and improve overall operational efficiency.

The successful launch of the Clean for Success program represents a pivotal step for Happsa in modernising its training practices and enhancing its service delivery across its diverse workforce.
