Happsa launches Reconciliation Action Plan

Happsa Group officially launched its Reconciliation Action Plan today at a lunch with clients and partners at the Essendon Football Club.

Key note speaker, Australian Rules Footballer, Kirby Bentley spoke at the lunch about diversity, leadership, reconciliation and indigenous engagement.

Happsa Group’s Managing Director Operations, Harry Georgiou said one of Happsa’s goals is to expand on its diversity and to support and include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in its operations.

“We are achieving this through partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, charitable organisations and, in the future, through employment opportunities.”

“This is an exciting period for us at Happsa, and a journey that we are proud to embark on,” Harry said.

Long Walk General Manager Leanne Brooke spoke about the continued partnership between the Long Walk Foundation and Happsa Group.

Attendees of the lunch were also treated to a private tour of the Essendon Football Club by Club Historian Grigor.
