We are excited to announce the official endorsement of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) by Reconciliation Australia.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan is based on our commitment to develop relationships, opportunities and awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
Happsa Group Managing Director Operations Harry Georgiou said the endorsement of the RAP was a huge step for Happsa and its vision for Reconciliation.
“Our team have been working behind the scenes, building relationships and support for community organisations and Indigenous-owned businesses.”
“Having these efforts and our RAP formally recognised by Reconciliation Australia is a great achievement for our team,” Harry said.
“We will continue to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities through awareness and inclusion. We are also working with our clients and partners and have some great things planned in the coming year.”
A copy of our RAP can be found on Reconciliation Australia’s website at https://www.reconciliation.org.au/reconciliation-action-plans/who-has-a-rap/#who-has-rap-results
Earlier this year, we partnered with Ingeous Studios who created our RAP artwork.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan design represents, through its contemporary designed elements, our commitment to Reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability through our work.
The design symbolises our work throughout the country and our commitment to the key principles of relationship building, opportunities development and awareness raising for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.
The background of the design is a sylised topographic map which represents the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and country and is also is symbolic of the work that we currently achieve in taking care of country and our environmental commitments to country.
