Happsa is proud to remain in partnership with Western United for the 2021/22 A-League Men’s season.
We will continue as the Club’s Commercial Cleaning Partner, keeping Western United a safe place for all during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have been regularly cleaning the Club’s training venue in Caroline Springs to ensure it meets the COVID-19 protocols by providing services such as core cleaning, change room and gym cleaning, high touch point sanitisation, and deep cleaning of floors.
In a joint media release, Western United CEO Chris Pehlivanis said Happsa’s work with the club to date has been highly valued and their continued involvement will provide a major boost for the club.
“I’m really happy to keep this relationship with Happsa Group and delighted that they are remaining on the journey with us,” he said.
“They have already been doing fantastic work in keeping our people safe at the training facility, in obviously what has been a very important time for health and safety.
“Happsa has shown its support in the club for the long run. They see our vision for the stadium and sports precinct and will be a great support to help us get there.
“The organisation has also shown a strong interest in promoting the women’s game, which with our A-League Women’s licence to come next year, is a massive bonus for us.”
Throughout the 2021/22 season, the Happsa Group logo will feature on the back of the shorts of the Western United A-League Men’s team as well as the NPL sides and Calder United in NPLW.
The organisation is proud to continue supporting football at all levels from local to professional, especially the development of women and girls involved in the game.
Happsa Group Managing Director Operations Harry Georgiou said that Happsa was thrilled to continue its partnership with Western United.
“Our partnership with Western United allows us to support all levels of football from A-League through to grassroots sports for both men and women,” he said.
“Our aim is to continue to work with and support the club in developing its women’s pathway soccer program for juniors through to the women’s league along with world-class training facilities for these programs.
“There has never been a more crucial time to invest in community sport that amplifies the importance of physical activity, health and wellness,” he concluded.
With the current ongoing Victorian lockdown, Western United extends its thanks and gratitude to Happsa Group for its continued support and for the work it has done in keeping both the Club and the communities in the west safe.
Western United remains grateful to have continued operating throughout the pandemic, with Happsa Group ensuring the areas where players train, play and work are always safe.
We are excited about what we can achieve in partnership with Western United and look forward to the season ahead.
