Happsa Group is a proud player sponsor of Western United Football Club’s Alessandro Diamanti.
The Happsa Team enjoyed at a player sponsor lunch in Melbourne where they had the opportunity to watch Alessandro and the team train, followed by the lunch celebrating the efforts of the players.
Diamanti joined the Western United Football Club in July 2019 and was appointed as the inaugural captain of the club. Western United’s star man has represented top flight clubs in England and Italy, including West Ham, Atalanta and Bologna, as well as making 17 appearances for the Italian national team.
The Italian has been a hit in the A-League, with eight goals and seven assists in his first season earning him the Johnny Warren Medal for the best player in the A-League.
Diamanti added another nine assists in the 2020/21 season and was nominated for the Johnny Warren Medal again.
The captain was in fine form again in 2021/22 before a knee injury ended his season at just 10 appearances, though his impact in the dressing room remained as the side went on to become A-League Champions.
